Tyler and Devon relocated from Columbus, Ohio to Texas in 2021, and their wedding brought together family and friends from Ohio, Florida, New York, California, and Australia. Their vision was clear: a black-tie, adult-only wedding with minimal formalities and maximum time on the dance floor. Rather than following a traditional timeline, they intentionally removed moments like a cake cutting that would pull guests away from dancing.
As their wedding DJ for both the ceremony and reception, our role was to curate a seamless experience that evolved throughout the night while maintaining momentum, blending open-format sets, 80s through current hits, hip-hop and R&B favorites, and high-energy dance music. One of the night’s most memorable highlights was Tyler’s wardrobe change and grand re-entrance, set to Jay-Z’s “Let Me Re-Introduce Myself,” which instantly reignited the energy in the room.
